Thanks for the article! I had read that Ilia had some part in coaching Michael Christian Martinez, a skater from the Philippines, and wasn't sure whether he would participate in the Olympics in a coaching capacity. It would also make sense for Russia to highlight their past champions in a show of some sort, similar to what they did in Salt Lake with the closing ceremonies with performances by professional skaters. I haven't heard anything of the sort though.
I wonder who Katia's favorites are of the skaters competing today and who they're rooting for besides their compatriots.

Hi, I'm new to this board, but i have been following Katia's career for a long time. I remember reading with joy the posts on the old gg corner. Back to this topic. I know Katia liked Mao Asada a lot and also she thought that Yuna Kim could win another Olympic because she was very talented.
